Mihovil Granić is a Partner and the co-head of the local Banking, Finance & Capital Markets service line. Mihovil also focuses on M&A and corporate as well as restructuring & insolvency.
Mihovil regularly advises major international and domestic banks and financial institutions on matters such as syndicated loans, acquisition finance and project finance. He was the head of the Croatian legal team that advised on the largest public debt restructuring deal ever in Croatia – the debt optimisation of the Croatian motorway and road sector, including a cross-border restructuring of a EUR 5.3 billion loan portfolio and a EUR 1.275 billion sovereign bond issuance.
Mihovil is also active in the dispute resolution practice, where he is involved in several high-profile disputes. Additionally, he is handling a large portfolio of civil litigation proceedings for one of the largest banks in Croatia.
Mihovil is qualified to practice law in Croatia and is fluent in Croatian and English.
